Director Finance – APAC

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Support local and global management with relevant and accurate financial information.
• Preparation of profitability ing and related analysis on monthly basis.
• Preparation of statutory accounting and ing according to local legislation.
• Team leadership for country controllers and finance team across APAC.
• Participation in local development projects and driving global initiatives locally.
• Cooperation with external auditors.
• Ensure appropriate corporate governance is in place with policies and internal controls.
• Member of a Sales Area Management Team and global controller community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years in business controlling and accounting with 5 years in leadership positions.
• Mining, Engineering or OEM Experience in multinational company desirable.
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Business essential – MBA desirable.
• Must hold a valid passport and have the right to work in Australia.
• Understanding of IFRS ing standards and difference from local GAAP.
• Membership of Australian Institute of Company Directors or equivalent desirable.
• Membership of the Chartered Secretaries Australia or equivalent desirable.
• Sound working knowledge of International Accounting Standards, Corporations Law, Taxation Legislation applicable in Australia and Asia Pacific region.
• Experience leading, coaching and managing a team nationally and internationally.
