Service Support Manager – Underground Equipment / Service / Consumables

They service underground operations in mining, tunnelling, and civil engineering projects, and have an enviable reputation for high performance products and customer centric service.

ing to the National Sales Manager, the primary function of the role will be to collaborate with the internal Business Development team and the company’s key clients, to commercialise their offerings and grow existing accounts by way of improving spend across the 3 key service streams.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Creation of Service Level Agreements and Global Framework Agreements.
• Develop tailored and packaged after sales support offering across all business lines including spare parts packages, service kits, technical support, warranties and training packages.
• ­Development and commercialise product and service offerings across all business lines.
• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and collateral.
• Demonstrate a high aptitude for comprehending client business models and proactively design solutions to address the corresponding opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of sales management experience in mining or similar industries on a national level.
• Proven track record of results and exceeding sales goals.
• Tertiary qualification in Mining/Electrical/Civil/Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualifications.
• In the absence of a formal qualification, 10+ years demonstrable experience in a similar position will be sufficient.
