Overview of an HR Analyst

Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated HR Analyst to join an expanding team. The role of a HR Analyst has a competitive pay rate of £17.10 per hour. Other benefits include excellent training and support for career development and 21 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays).

The Main Purpose of a HR Analyst:

• Working with the Head of Resourcing and Dynamics Project Team, the HR Analyst will play a key role in supporting the HR & OD function to establish a systematic approach to collect and analyse organisation structure/establishment data and supporting broader organisation with establishment management.
• Build effective working relationships with Dynamics Project Team, HR & OD colleagues to ensure there is a coordinated and integrated approach with data management in the new ERP Dynamics.
• Establish credibility as a trusted partner in leading the establishment control process.
• Act as the respective IT systems expert with a clear understanding of the data held, work in collaboration and proactively with HR & OD leads to build and deliver advanced reporting and dashboard formats.
• Work in collaboration with HR & OD colleagues to support the achievement of the HR & OD agenda. Contribute to the development of service plans for the Human Resources and Organisational Development Division.

About you, the successful candidate will have:

• Relevant qualification to HR or database equivalent or has the equivalent relevant work experience
• A clear understanding of the concept of data management including governance, analysis, security, quality and integrity
• Knowledge, awareness and understanding of the public sector, including understanding the key drivers for change
• Solid experience in collecting, manipulating and analysing large amounts of complex data and presenting data to provide high quality and user-friendly HR support service
• Experience in MI reporting and HR query and reporting
• Experience in designing or updating web pages and applications
• Resourceful and pragmatic problem-solving skills
