The company is growing and with it the need for filling the position for a Financial Accountant.

About the position

Reporting directly to the CEO/ Managing Director of the company you will be overseeing all aspects of the finance function.
Duties will include:

• Monthly management reporting including monthly adjustment journals
• Completing Accounts Payable
• Daily bank reconciliation and weekly cash flow forecast
• Checking off payroll
• Monthly BAS and PAYG
• Assisting Accounts Receivable & Debtor Insurance
• Compliance, Work cover and Insurance

About you

You must be hands on and be prepared to help out across all areas of the business. The right person can hit the ground running, is a good communicator and has a high attention to detail. You will have a degree in accounting and a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role. CPA/CA would be an advantage.

Ideally you will have experience with credit insurance and import regulations. Furthermore, your Excel skills will be excellent, and you be able to learn new systems quickly.

In your role you will be supported by a team of people covering the different disciplines and report directly to the Managing Director / CEO.
