About The Role

**

This exciting role supports the People Team in a growing, energetic legal firm. The successful candidate will have chance to demonstrate their skills in a fast paced and agile environment. This role will be most suited to a strong, systems savvy administrator who is both astute, personable and can work with pace, agility and responsiveness to business needs. You will need to be analytical, process oriented with an attention to detail to be successful in this role.
The HR Operations Team consists of a team of four and sits within a wider HR function. This team is at the heart of the function and has touch points with the business as a whole.
The main purpose of this position is to facilitate and coordinate all required HR administration in a accurate and timely manner. The team is responsible for the workflow coming through the HR inbox. This role will execute all administration related to starters, leavers, offers, probation, contractual changes etc.
Duties include:

• Ensure that all relevant employee lifecycle and general administrative activities are managed in a timely and efficient manner, this includes pay and benefit variations.
• Acting as a centralised first line support to employees, resolving queries and signposting people to the right resources/ solutions.
• Produce HR documents including contracts, and changes to terms and conditions of employment.
• Ensure all new employee onboarding checks are completed in good time including processing references, DBS and SRA checks.
• Manage the integrity of HR data ensuring accuracy and stability of HR data so to generate accurate reports and insights for the business partnering team.
• Providing light admin support to the HR Director and HR management team when required
• Whilst maintaining the information within the human resources information system (Cascade), proactively seek ways to improve the data we hold (e.g. reduce data held outside of the system).
• Working closely with the Onboarding Coordinator to organise welcome pack and induction timetables for new employees, liaising with line manager on arrangements for new employees’ first day/week.

• An exceptional administrator (well organised and process/ systems oriented)
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
• HR systems experience essential (preferably use of Cascade)
• Prioritise and plan, taking account of changing business needs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Analytical, able to problem solve and use initiative to suggest process improvements
• Confident handling data in different systems, including excel at an advanced level
• Ability to build internal relationships and demonstrate a client-focused approach
• Display high quality standards and commitment
