i2 Group, a Harris Computer company, are currently recruiting for Graduate Software Developers.

This position can be based remotely within the UK.
You will arm analysts with multidimensional visual analysis and advanced analytics capabilities so they can quickly uncover hidden connections and patterns in huge data sets. i2 combines cutting edge data storage, word-class analysis tools, visualization and dissemination capabilities in a single analysis environment.
Our customers fight everything from human trafficking to tiger poaching, insurance fraud to organised crime and you will help them make a difference, every day.
Role and Responsibilities
Our development teams deliver value to customers in both a desktop application and web context using Microsoft C++/.NET and React technologies respectively. Analytics are provided by Java Web services orchestrating both an RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) and Solr Text Index. The whole stack can be delivered in a containerised Cloud context providing a step change in time to value for our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science or similar subject.
· A highly personable team player who can work effectively with colleagues and customers
· An effective communicator who can explain complex technical issues
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
· Awareness of Agile development methodology desirable
· Academic or commercial coding experience, ideally in Java

Salary: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
