We are currently seeking a Casual Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team, to provide financial assistance to internal/external stakeholders, provide efficient and accurate oversight regarding trust and company accounts and assist with Payroll and Commission-related duties.

THE ROLE YOU COULD PLAY…

Within our fast-paced and innovative environment, you will be assisting the rest of the Finance team with:

• Trust account-related queries from property managers, landlords, and tenants
• Preparation of account sales for sale contracts
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
• Daily banking & reconciliations
• Payroll
• Agent and property manager commissions
• Month-end and year-end reporting procedures including accruals, general journals, and balance sheet reconciliations

WHAT YOU WILL BRING…

• Have obtained or are working towards completing a bachelor’s degree in an Accounting or Finance-related field
• Are highly organised with great attention to detail
• Possess great communication skills both written and verbal
• Have a strong willingness to learn
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Converse professionally with internal/external stakeholders
• Work efficiently in a fast past environment with deadlines and service level agreements
