Harris Computer Systems Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at Queensland Full Time

We’re seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Harris family, supporting our growing business in Australia, driving end-to-end Talent Acquisition activity for various business units. You will take the lead on attracting, sourcing and selecting exceptional talent and establish strong working relationships with Hiring Managers, HR and other key stakeholders within the business to deliver on all Talent Acquisition needs. You will also play a key role in supporting wider HR activities and projects, both locally and globally, as required.

This is a fully remote role, supporting our entire Australian business.
What will be your impact?
- Lead and support the entire recruitment process in Australia, from A-Z
- Partnering with hiring managers to assess their talent requirements and advising on the best hiring strategy in a highly specialised environment
- Function as an internal consultant on recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning and retention.
- Write highly engaging job advertisements that attract top-quality candidates
- Review, screen, shortlist applications ensuring that candidates meet the requirement of hiring managers
- Conduct phone and video interviews
- Proactively build and maintain talent pools, utilising a variety of cost-efficient sourcing techniques
- Support and coach hiring managers as required through the recruitment process
- Conduct/facilitate various employment checks and assessments
- Effectively maintain the administration of candidate documentation and database
- Own the candidate experience, continuously look for ways to improve/implement delivery of service and candidate engagement
- Being the single point of contact for candidates throughout the whole process, from initial application, to offer negotiations, to preparing employment contracts, background screening and all other correspondence prior to the employment start date.
- Play a key role in supporting wider HR activities and projects, both locally and globally, as required.
What are we looking for?
- 3-5 years end-to-end recruitment experience (internal recruitment preferably or with a mix of agency/general HR)
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in relevant field
- Strong knowledge of recruitment practices and applicable legislation
- Confident in proactively sourcing and attracting talent
- History of working with broad range of stakeholders and partnering with hiring managers to achieve results
- Experience using Workday would be an advantage, otherwise another applicant tracking/talent acquisition software system
- Experience with recruiting IT/software roles highly desirable
- A natural and confident communicator who can effectively build positive relationships, negotiate and influence at all levels.
- Outstanding drive, energy and commitment with a capacity for working independently
