Harper Adams University seeks an experienced part time administration professional to join its Academic Services team, to support the Directorate and the wider University in achieving its strategic goals. This temporary (maternity over) post is a fantastic development opportunity to gain experience working in a fast-paced and wide-ranging role, reporting directly to the Director of Academic Services and Academic Registrar.
The post holder will be responsible for activities including case work for academic appeals and student complaints, policy management, organisation of the student-facing aspects of graduation, and professional secretariat support for key University boards and committees. Some other tasks typically associated with the role will be reassigned during the maternity cover period.
You will be a proactive individual, able to undertake complex administrative work efficiently and accurately, using initiative. Your ability to synthesise large amounts of information succinctly will enable you to communicate effectively to a range of audiences. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and easily develop and maintain good networks and working relationships with colleagues at all levels, as well as with external stakeholders.
