Marketing Specialist / Content Creator

At the Harp Gallery, we are a group of artisans, restoration experts and customer service staff who pride ourselves on doing something different every day. We have been a family owned business for over 37 years, and are now over 90% e-commerce. Our unique pieces are regularly shipped around the country and world, and featured in museums, TV shows, and movies! Each piece of art, furniture, lighting and more undergoes a comprehensive restoration process that assures integrity, practicality and durability—preparing it for another generation of use. We value the beauty and functionality of historical items, as well as the model of sustainability that comes with renewing second-hand pieces.

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to help grow our brand image on social media platforms, produce outstanding visual content, expand our local presence and more!

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Create scroll-stopping social media content to include short form video, static posts, blog articles, and more.
• Plan, create and manage social advertising campaigns
• Day-to-day proactive community building and management of social media, including responding to comments, messages, questions and reviews in a timely manner
• Maintain consistent voice, tone, and themes across all channels.
• Make recommendations to improve the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
• Set performance objectives and bring forth opportunities for campaign optimization and scaling
• Stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
• Optimizing visual content in email campaigns
• Monitor and research competitors, establish benchmarking, and help establish goals.
• Cultivating presence and community building, both in-person and online

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related discipline
• 1+ years of professional experience in marketing, advertising or social media account management.
• Photography and Video Experience
• Graphic design experience
• Confidence in direct communication with customers and community in person, on social platforms and other customer service communications
• Understanding of multiple communication channels and their role.
• Strong organization, time management, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in social media, email campaigns, and video and photo editing.
• Very strong interpersonal skills with a passion for teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time

Pay: $15.00 – $21.00 per hour
