A rapidly expanding media marketing company within a cutting-edge space is hiring a Data Software Engineer to join their expanding London-based team. This company is working on a lot of interesting projects involving automation, visualisation and building tools, in partnership with a wide range of extremely successful companies. You will be building software, tools and platforms to improve performance, efficiency, and security within the business. They are seeking a motivated Python Software Engineer with experience in Data Engineering, looking for fast progression inside a dynamic and supportive team atmosphere.

THE COMPANY:
The company is an ever-growing global media marketing firm, looking to expand its headcount this coming year. Their massive customer base and consistent performance have led to a strong turnover as a result, as well as helping to improve some very high-profile marketing agencies. They are looking for a strong applicant to work closely on backend software amongst a technically proficient team within a fast-paced, expansive environment.

THE ROLE:
As a Data Software Engineer, you will have an expansive range of responsibilities, including:

• Design, development, and upkeep of required software using Python
• Establishing and promoting the use of best practices in the software engineering life cycle
• Managing cloud tech, working with GCP
• Undertaking Automation projects to improve efficiency
• Picking up new data pipelines and maintaining existing ones
• Improving security across the business
• Developing and improving internal and external tools
• Collaborating with data engineers and wider team to develop data platforms

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

A successful Data Software Engineer for this role will have:

• Commercial experience as a Python Backend Software Engineer
• Commercial experience working with DevOps or DataOps
• In-depth experience of GCP and cloud technologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines ideally in Bit Query
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Automation
• Experience with React, JavaScript or Node,js
• Experience with Big Data

THE BENEFITS:
The salary range for this role is £60,000 – £73,000 alongside pension contributions and is hybrid
