Harmony Heights High School has an immediate opening for a full time Special Education Teacher, certified grades 7-12. We are a state approved special education school. We provide a safe, positive, nurturing learning environment for students who have not been successful in their home district. Knowledge of IEP’s and how social, emotional, and academic challenges impact on students in their school community a must. Participation in CSE meetings and push in to classes to support students as needed. This is a 10 month program and includes a 6 week summer school program. Classes are 12:1:1 with a strong academic and clinical support team. Excellent working conditions. Good benefits. New graduates considered based on experience. 3 letters of recommendation required.
