Role Description

We are seeking passionate and ambitious software engineers to join our software development team. Successful candidates will work on real-life project to build innovative product within Harmonic’s comprehensive video streaming portfolio of video and media products and multi-cloud-based services.

Harmonic internships are full-time (40 hours/week) and open to work terms of 8 or 12 months. Successful candidates will be exposed to and learn about internet video, mobile live streaming and digital video content preparation and delivery to TVs, PC, iPads and all other video-enabled devices within the context of cutting-edge technologies and techniques.

What you will be doing:
Build robust and scalable software-based products and solutions and deliver high-quality

Work with a team of experienced software engineers on a wide stack of technologies.

Receive direct guidance and mentorship from experienced software engineers and your manager.

Actively participate in various agile development activities

What you should have:
Actively pursuing Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related disciplines

Good analytical skills and communication skills in English

Fast learner – can quickly pick up new skills as required

Familiarity with Object-Oriented programming skills in one of Java, C++, C#, GoLang or other OO language

Familiarity with Linux
