OUR IDEAL YARD MANAGER

If you’re a flexible problem solver who can keep your cool during stressful situations, we want you! You just need to meet the following criteria:

• 5+ years of management experience
• 3+ years of recycling processing experience
• Knowledge about ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Familiarity with finances, business principles, and operations management
• Strong communication skills and ability to inspire others
• High school diploma or equivalent

A bachelor’s degree or heavy equipment experience would be preferred.

AVERAGE DAY AS OUR YARD MANAGER

You play a crucial role in overseeing all day-to-day operations of our scrap yard. You are responsible for managing inventory, building team relations, solidifying customer relations, and achieving operational goals. Thinking strategically, you lead your team to achieve revenue goals by motivating them, maximizing their productivity, and ensuring asset protection. You make sure all work complies with state, federal, and company policies.

You have daily team huddles and continuous one-on-one meetings with each team member to foster communication, engagement, and teamwork. By analyzing performance and providing guidance, you help your team members reach their full potential. You drive efficiencies to enhance the customer experience as well as maintain a clean and organized facility. You are vital to our yard’s success!
