We are in the concrete and construction tools and supplies business. We sell primarily to contractors big and small, and a smaller portion of the business coming from the homeowner, DIY market.

The position is Delivery Driver, however the position includes a significant physical work element. Further explained below. Please take note.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Our trucks are 18 ft. flatbeds. Most deliveries are in town or surrounding area. You can expect 4-5 deliveries/pickups a day.
You will be required to deliver various products throughout Calgary and surrounding area.
Banding pallets, loading and strapping the truck, unloading the truck at delivery site. Loading and unloading will be both with forklift and by hand.
Cover in the yard when necessary. This might occur over lunches, and at the end of day.
Some delivery experience is preferred, however extensive truck driving and or heavy duty truck experience is NOT required nor preferred. The right attitude and work ethic is the key.
You will work closely with sale staff and shop manager when customer requests come up outside of the scheduled deliveries.
Execute customer deliveries safely, on time, and efficiently
Load and strap your deliveries by forklift and by hand
Willingness to jump in and help in other areas when needed.
Must have a positive attitude and be customer service driven
This is a high paced job and environment. Patience, cooperation, and flexibility are attributes needed to be successful in the position.
