We are seeking a creative Social Media Content Creator with experience in video editing to join our team to sell out the 500-seat venuefor an event on October 2023.
As the Social Media Content Creator, you will develop and implement engaging social media strategies to promote the event. Your primary focus will be creating captivating content highlighting the event, speakers, and performers, showcasing the value and excitement attendees can expect.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy for the event.
2. Create visually appealing and engaging video content to promote the event across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube).
3. Collaborate with the Campaign Director and marketing team to understand the event’s key messages and target audience and translate them into compelling video content.
4. Optimize videos for social media platforms, considering different formats, aspect ratios, and lengths.
5. Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure content relevancy and engagement.
6. Monitor and analyze social media content performance, identifying improvement areas and implementing strategies to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.
7. Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative video and other content creation ideas.
8. Ensure all social media content meets brand guidelines, quality standards, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator with a strong focus on video content and editing.
2. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
3. Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their video requirements (e.g., aspect ratios, video lengths, best practices).
4. Creative mindset with the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual content.
5. Excellent attention to detail and strong visual aesthetics.
6. Strong understanding of storytelling and narrative techniques.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
9. Knowledge of mindset training or interest in personal development is a plus.
10. A portfolio showcasing previous social media video content creation and editing work is a plus.
