Hanover Public School District Hiring for Teaching Assistants (Part-time) at Hanover, PA Full Time

We are looking for dedicated individuals who want to help students succeed! These positions, effective at the start of the 2024-2025 school year, provide academic support to students under the direction of a teacher and performs a variety of clerical support functions. Will also assist/supervise students inside and outside during lunch periods. The vacancies are school-year, part-time, 5.75 hours per day, Monday-Friday. Pay range minimum is at least $13.00 per hour. The starting rate is based on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

Must meet Highly Qualified Status with two years of post-secondary education OR high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of a Competency test, which can be taken after hire.

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills

Must be cooperative, congenial and service-oriented

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively

Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks
