Hanover Public School District Hiring for Teaching Assistants (Full-time) at Hanover, PA Full Time

We are looking for two (2) dynamic individuals dedicated to helping students succeed! These positions, specifically assigned to Grades 1-3, provide academic support to students in the classroom under the direction of a teacher. May also perform a variety of clerical support functions as needed. The vacancies are school-year, full-time, 7 hours per day, Monday-Friday. Pay range minimum is $13.00 per hour. The starting rate is based on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

Must meet Highly Qualified Status with two years of post-secondary education OR high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of the CAPE test, which can be taken after hire.

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills

Must be cooperative, congenial and service-oriented

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively

Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks
