Hanover Public School District Hiring for Teaching Assistant (Full-time) at Hanover, PA Full Time

We are looking for a dynamic individual dedicated to helping students succeed! The position, effective at the start of the 2024-2025 school year, provides academic support to students under the direction of a teacher, with a focus on Math, and performs a variety of clerical support functions. It is school-year, full-time, 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7 hours per day. Pay rate is at least $13.00 per hour minimum. Offered rate is based on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

Must meet Highly Qualified Status with two years of post-secondary education OR high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of a Competency test, which can be taken after hire.

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills

Must be cooperative, congenial and service-oriented

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively

Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks
