Finance Manager | Permanent | Kew Melbourne

Reporting to the General Manager, Commercial, we have an exciting opportunity in our Finance team for a Finance Manager, Bonds Group. This rolewill cover three key areas, outlined below, and have exposure up to CEO level

You will responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis, month end accounting and controls and cost management processes. You’ll also lead and mentor a team of 3 high performing Accountants.

• Financial planning and analysis
• Manage monthly financial results and preparation of variance analysis
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Provide key insights to stakeholders on financial performance
• Presentation of financial results to leadership team at monthly business reviews
• Group accounting and controls oversight
• Manage the month end accounting process and consolidation of financials
• Monitor the adherence of key finance controls under US Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
• Lead accounting problem solving and process improvement activities
• Cost management
• Provide insightful variance analysis to leadership team on expenses
• Work with senior leadership team to identify cost efficiencies

What experience do I have?

• CA/CPA qualified – essential
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role or an audit role with a Big 4/Mid Tier firm
• Proven financial reporting & technical accounting skills
• Team leader experience with a keen desire to mentor and develop our people
• A problem solver, with excellent attention to detail and prioritisation skills
• Positive attitude and proven stakeholder management
