GENERAL SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Key Account Manager is primarily responsible for focusing on growing sales for key Multi-Location Strategic Accounts for Handtmann, Inc. The Key Account Manager is also responsible for maintaining existing Strategic Accounts through account management, customer service and increased penetration of customers’ various locations. The Key Account Manager will serve as a true business partner, acting as the key representative for Handtmann, Inc. within the office, service and sales.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Â
·        Creates, builds and maintains positive business relationships with assigned KEY customers
·        Ensures world-class customer service
·        Maintains and updates organizational chart for corporate headquarters and plant locations
·        Analyzes s and presents during operating reviews the status of new and lost business, as well as shrinkage or growth within existing assigned accounts
·        Provides project s, plant updates, won/lost order s, and all other special requests from the Primary Customer Contacts as requested
·        Will provide timely follow up to customers as requested
·        Maintains negotiating and discounting authority with assigned customers
·        Resolves account issues with regard to delivery, installation, credit and collections matters, product replacements, returns, and account history questions
·        Works extensively with both plant-level and corporate-level contacts for all key customer accounts, including Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Production, Credit/Collections and Marketing
·        Coordinates communications with Handtmann Inc. Office and Field Territory Managers to present new account implementation plans and/or identify and resolve service needs for customers as necessary
·        Utilizes CRM to manage assigned accounts and maximize account visibility
·        Position requires up to 75% travel.

·        Develops and implements strategies to increase sales and profits from existing Regional, Multi-Location, and Single Location Strategic Accounts
·        Should be able to identify and implement actions to grow business while identifying process and cost-improvement plans for customers
·        Develops and coordinates account-specific sales presentations, business reviews, etc.
·        Performs other duties as assigned or requested
