Hand Picked Hotels Hiring for HR Manager – Hand Picked Hotels, Guernsey at Guernsey Full Time

We are recruiting for an HR Manager to support our Hotels in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The role will predominantly be for Fermain Valley Hotel but will also include work for St Pierre Park Hotel & Spa and Braye Beach Hotel in Alderney.

This HR Manager role is 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

As the HR Manager, you will support the Regional HR Manager, ensuring our teams feel engaged and supported and that they have a positive experience with Hand Picked Hotels from their initial on boarding and right through their employment journey.

Key responsibilities:
Providing advice and guidance to managers and team members for employment related matters.

Delivering an efficient and accurate HR service whilst managing high volumes of administration.

Supporting to coach and develop the management team to improve people management capability.

Supporting recruitment processes as required.

Collating accurate periodic payroll information and routine compliance checks.

Acting as a brand ambassador, promoting Company values, behaviours, benefits and new initiatives.

In return we will help to develop your HR skills and knowledge through exposure to more complex matters as your experience develops.

About you:
You will have experience working in an HR generalist role.

You will have strong administrative skills with a good knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook. Previous experience of working with an HRIS is desirable.

You will have a working knowledge of employment practices in Guernsey

You are confident when working alone, highly organised and able to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail in a busy and fast paced environment.

You have excellent communication skills, find it easy to build rapport with others and will understand the importance of treating everyone as an individual.
