Job Description – .NET/C# developer
Hamilton Investments is looking for an experienced C# developer to join our growing development team. You will be someone who produces work of high standards and combines expert knowledge of C# to produce quality code.

Based in London, you will be responsible for the delivery of software products for our unique crypto-exchange platform. The ideal candidate would be someone who has previously worked in the financial industry on a trading platform or someone from a betting background. Knowledge around low latency development would. An understanding of microservice architecture would also be required.

Essential Experience*

• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Object Oriented design with knowledge of common design patterns
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Understanding of distributed caching systems
• Understanding of MVC
• SQL knowledge
• Developed working and secure code in C# for at least 4 years.
• Profiling and
• Microservice architecture in .NET core
• EC2 use

Preferred

• Experience with RabbitMQ
• Experience with profiling
• PostgreSQL knowledge
• Redis
• Knowledge of GoLang
• Rust knowledge
• Experience working with Quantitative Finance
• Experience with Domain Driven Design

Additional requirements

• Participation in requirements analysis
• .NET architecture knowledge
• Comfortable taking feedback from QA and the testing team
• Experience using JIRA/Confluence
• Experience in the AGILE/SCRUM ceremonies and methods
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Team player but able to work on own initiative
• Enthusiastic, self-starter and highly self-motivated
