A large Cardiovascular in Los Alamitos has an urgent need for a front office Medical Assistant! This practice has multiple providers and excellent opportunity to enhance your Cardiology background and experience.
Position: Entry Level Medical Assistant
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (must be flexible)
Specialty: Cardiology
Pay Rate: $20-$21 p/hour
Location: Los Alamitos zip 90720
Providers: 6
EMR: E-Clinical Works (ECW)
Starts: Immediately
Duties:
- Greet patients upon arrival and check in/check out according to protocol
- Scheduling appointments
- Screen calls
- Data entry
- Scanning/faxing
- Enter and update all patient demographics
- Insurance verification and collection of co-pays
- Take detailed and accurate messages
