Cost Accountant

Hallmark Homes, Inc. is currently searching for a team-oriented Cost Accountant to provide cost analysis for custom homes and improve the current cost analysis methodology. Hallmark Homes is one of the largest on-your-lot custom home builders in the Midwest and has been ranked as Indiana’s number 1 custom home builder. Having built over 2,000 homes since 1992, our quality control, scheduling, and warranty are second to none.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Attention to detail and ensure completeness of estimates
• Analytical skills with a keen sense of organization
• Time management skills including the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under strict deadlines
• Knowledge of residential construction, general building processes, and building materials is preferred
• Ability to communicate with subcontractors, material suppliers, subcontractors, and architects
• Familiarity with blueprints and home design
• Design, implement, and adhere to estimating and business workflow processes
• Maintain and update estimating tools timely
• Track and analyze budget to actual results
• A very high proficiency in excel as well as familiarity with web-based database systems
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting

Salary: $50k-$65k Annually

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
