The VP will oversee Global Agora’s growing business operations in the finance department and across numerous revenue streams. This person will be responsible for organizational and financial planning as we scale the business.

Responsibilities:
Manage a growing team of financial analysts; provide guidance, mentorship and career development Provide comprehensive and timely financial reporting and discussion materials for management and other stakeholders Lead organization-wide efforts around goal setting and budgeting, including our annual strategic planning and quarterly reforecasting processes.
Oversees and directs the timely preparation and issuance of each of the corporation’s audited annual report.
Manages bi-weekly payroll and works closely with the Human Resources Department.
Oversee daily timely recordings of receipts and disbursements.
Responsible for ensuring data reporting is timely and accurate. Reconcile related party balances and transactions monthly.
Responsible for month end accruals.
Prepare the month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation.
Process miscellaneous receivables and cash receipts including credit card payments.
Manage the day to day AP operations including but not limited to: uploading and coding invoices, obtaining necessary approvals for invoices outstanding, processing employee expense reports, maintaining vendor contracts, and creating payment runs
Requirements:
An undergraduate degree in finance or accounting is required. Experience in partnering with an executive team. Experience with high-volume, multi-service, project-based businesses. Solid understanding of accounting life-cycle and all that it entails for startups, growing businesses, and public companies to succeed. Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Microsoft Excel skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills for building collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization. Excellent skills in accuracy, organization, and comfort working in a high-volume/fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to change, effectively manage multiple tasks/projects, and provide timely feedback and visibility while keeping management aware of key issues Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.

Pay: $175,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
