We are seeking a part-time professional with the capacity to implement engaging and meaningful lessons while using multiple strategies to help students meet common core objectives.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
· thorough knowledge of Economics concepts and application
· the ability to create a classroom environment conducive to learning
· the ability to implement curriculum to meet state and school standards
· the ability to design lesson plans and learning activities that ensure the student’s ability to grasp concepts
· Professionalism and understanding of educational objectives
· Experience in classroom management and organization
· Enthusiasm for working with adolescents and ability to inspire excitement about learning
Master’s Degree applicants: Additional opportunity for a College Level Economics Teacher
Our private school has been educating students for over 70 years and emphasizes an academic program tailored to developmental and individual needs. We support team work in our staff and students and offer mentoring programs for our first-year teachers.
Licensed teacher preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12,000.00 – $25,000.00 per year
