JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Information Administrator
Location: City of Guelph and Wellington County
Status: Fullātime, 37.5 hours per week
Reports to: Director, Organizational Development
Key relationships: CEO, Accounting & Finance team, RD team, ReStore team
Works regularly with: Affiliate Stakeholders and Staff
Mission Statement: To build and steward strategic partnerships in Guelph and Wellington County that support the Habitat for Humanity GW mission and build projects present and future
About the Organization:
Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington works to create new opportunities for affordable home ownership ā an important part of the housing continuum, and an important part of the solution to the current housing crisis. Habitat GW works to provide a hand up, not a hand out, to partner with families to create the opportunity for a safe and decent place to live. Over the coming 3ā5 years, Habitat GW has ambitious goals for building throughout Guelph and Wellington County, with 2 projects currently underway, bringing homes to over 70 families. As a charitable organization, Habitat GW relies on partnerships, investment and donations from the community to bring these projects through to fruition.
Expectations:
Duties:
o Build and Construction (administration, funding applications and draw tracking across projects)
o Financing and Administration (forecast of ongoing commitments and contingencies, Government and financial institution funding draws)
o Communication, Marketing and Resource Development (coordination and supporting knowledge centre, bond administration, storage of donation receipts and receipting process)
o Family and Volunteer Services (collection and maintenance of financial document storage: net asset summary, rental and commercial reporting, family annual income review)
o ReStore (truck team dispatch documents, coordination of the collection of the metrics for the ReStore reporting, supporting process improvement)
