GXO Logistics Hiring for Senior HR Advisor at London Full Time

Are you currently working as a HR advisor in a fast-paced business? Are you feeling a little stagnant in your current role and are looking for something new and exciting?

We’re looking for an experienced HR advisor to join our Drinks Logistics Business Unit. There’s lots of change going on currently so we’re looking for someone who is up for a challenge. You’ll be based in London, supporting multiple sites, therefore we’re including a car allowance/ company car!

This is a Monday-Friday role – however we ask for some flexibility, this is logistics after all.

Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum plus a company car allowance of £360pm. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
You’ll support, coach and advise key stakeholders on all HR issues, including discipline, grievance, absence management and performance improvement

Deal with Trade Union representatives on all employee related matters on a daily basis and with Full Time Officials as appropriate

Contribute to the provision of systematic and effective recruitment, selection and induction processes, involving the recruitment team where appropriate

Co-ordinate and manage the HR activity required to ensure that TUPE, redundancy, retention and redeployment activities are executed in line with statutory and company requirements

Ensure company standards, policies and procedures are effective and are implemented on a consistent basis across the business

What you need to succeed at GXO

An up to date understanding of employment law

Strong understanding of TUPE and its implications to 3rd party service providers

Preferably CIPD qualified or working towards graduate status

Experience dealing with Trade Union negotiation

Previous experience of working within the Transport and Logistics Industry would be desirable
