GXO Logistics Hiring for Senior HR Advisor at Derby Full Time

Here at GXO Logistics, we’re looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join our Drinks Logistics site based in Derby. There’s lots of change going on currently so we’re looking for someone who enjoys taking on responsibility, is comfortable working in a standalone position and is up for a challenge. (Whilst this is fast paced you’ll have plenty of support from our experienced HR colleagues across the business unit)

This is a Monday-Friday role- although we do ask for a level of flexibility.

Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer upto £40,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
You’ll support, coach and advise key stakeholders on all HR issues, including discipline, grievance, absence management and performance improvement

Deal with Trade Union representatives on all employee related matters on a daily basis and with Full Time Officials as appropriate

Contribute to the provision of systematic and effective recruitment, selection and induction processes, involving the recruitment team where appropriate

Ensure company standards, policies and procedures are effective and are implemented on a consistent basis across the business

You’ll work closely with our fantastic internal recruitment team (This may be a little biased…..)

What you need to succeed at GXO

An up to date understanding of employment law

Preferably CIPD qualified or working towards graduate status

Experience dealing with Trade Union’s

Previous experience of working within the Transport and Logistics Industry (Ideally Drinks Logistics) would be desirable
