We’re looking for a Junior Finance Business Partner to join us here at GWI. About the job
As GWI grows we are looking for a new team member who is eager to learn and excited to form strong relationships with all areas across the business. You will be responsible for assisting in the budget and forecasting processes and partner with the business to monitor their spend on a monthly basis to ensure we stay on our budgeted path! This is a great opportunity for individuals who are interested in growing their financial analysis career and be assisted with further studies.
What you’ll be doing

• Updating of departments P&L with actuals on a monthly basis to enable accurate forecasting
• Assistance with quarterly re-forecasting and annual budgeting process
• Entering detail from department P&L’s into master reforecast/budget files
• Review data studios detail to ensure alignment with mgmt accounts and forecast/budget files
• Prepare and submit Budget and reforecast uploads to our BI team
• Ownership over department P&L’s
• Assist in month end analysis of the division’s performance against forecast and budget
• Assist in preparation of department business cases for additional funding project requests
• Help prepare reporting packs for various purposes and stakeholders
• Produce monthly headcount reports
• Assist in the implementation of budgeting software tool
• Assist in the formulation of department KPIs
• Other Ad hoc reporting

Technical

• Understanding of general accounting principles and confidence working with multi-currency entities
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables etc.)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse large amounts of data and prepare in easily understandable formats for presentation to non-financial stakeholders

Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build effective business relationships
• Time management, you’ll have the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and be able to prioritise workload
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
