We have an amazing opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join the growing GWG Recruitment family to focus on our Government clients. Due to explosive growth in the Government Sector, this full time position comes with flexibility and autonomy, with the ability to work from home or from one of our offices.

The opportunity exists for you to take complete ownership of all our Government roles, administration tasks, advertising requirements, client and candidate management. You will provide exceptional support from our high performing administration, business development and marketing teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage and source candidate pipelines for open roles and future recruitment requirements
• Screening and interviewing candidates, preparing advertising campaigns, and compiling candidate briefs for clients
• Manage the end to end recruitment process for Government contract opportunities
• Build relationships with key stakeholders form various Government departments
• Identify areas for growth in other Government sectors working closely with our business development team
• Maintain contact and a regular candidate care cycle with our contractors
• Be our first point of contact for any pay or WHS related inquiries

About You
Relevant industry experience working in recruitment or a call centre environment involving high volume and fast paced activity is ideal! Experience in recruiting in the Government sector would be the icing on the cake!

• Must be self-motivated and driven with a desire to perform at your best everyday
• Excellent time management and organisational skills essential
• Must enjoy developing and building business relationships
• Good business acumen – know how to communicate professionally with clients and candidates
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to adhere to the GWG recruitment process and fully utilise our information and database systems
