About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team based in Enfield, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Financial Planning & Process Improvement Manager, the purpose of this role is to support the delivery of core FP&R outcomes (Reporting & Analysis, Forecasting & Budgeting, and Governance & Controls) for MAURI ANZ.

In this important role, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly business reports, including profit & loss and working capital
• Contributing to monthly financial reviews through analysing performance versus forecast/budget and identifying key drivers of performance
• Supporting insight-led decision-making through the development of metrics and reports, and providing analytical support
• Developing and maintaining financing models, with accountability for ensuring the timely submission and consolidation of inputs from each business area
• Preparation and business partnering in build-up of forecasts/budget
• Administration of the formal budget and forecast submission processes in SAP
• Monitoring and supporting compliance measures in-line with GWF’s Financial Control Framework
• Identifying opportunities for financial process improvements and supporting key process improvement initiatives
• Supporting internal and external audit processes

About You

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have over three years’ experience in financial accounting, management accounting or business analysis roles. A degree in a relevant field and CA/CPA qualification are essential.

You will also meet the following criteria:

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and add-ons (Power Pivot) and PowerPoint and add-ons (Think Cell)
• Experience implementing and using Business Intelligence tools, e.g., Tablaeu, is highly desirable
• Experience in process improvement and change management is also advantageous
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. You will enjoy building relationships and partnering with others to achieve outcomes
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passionate about deriving insight from analysis
• Positive attitude towards change
• Attention to detail
• Hunger to learn
