We are looking for a Production Planner to join our team. The Production Planner is key to the success of our operations and is an integral part of our Purchasing & Logistics team.

As a Production Planner, your responsibilities include:

• Through interface with ERP system, and Master Scheduler, develop daily and weekly production schedules and plans.
• Generate planned and unplanned workorders, service orders, rework orders, as required.
• Work regularly with production, purchasing and projects team, to align capacity, material supply and customer shipping requirements.
• Plan & schedule workflows and operations according to established manufacturing routings and cycle times.
• Attend regularly scheduled production/operations meetings. Ensure operation meets shipping dates according to customer orders.
• Identify, and/or expedite any material supply issues that could impact the daily production schedule.
• Adjust schedule to meet changing needs (e.g. equipment breakdowns, changeovers, material shortages)
• Accountable for inventory balances, raw supply & generating work order requirements.
• Provide required schedule to Production departments on a daily basis
• Generate and maintain weekly reports on inventory levels, open work orders.
• Perform regular inventory cycle counts
• Assist in identifying inventory discrepancies, request cycle counts where necessary.
• Perform inventory analysis and management to avoid low stock and overstock
• Develop process improvements to achieve company inventory goals
• Other duties as assigned

If you love doing this, here is what would make you a great candidate:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, production, and/or supply chain (ideally electronic products and/or high-mix low-volume assembly production);
• 2+ years of experience as production planner in project/small batch assembly;
• Certification in supply chain (a plus);
• Amazing planning skills and experience;
• Expertise working and managing data in ERP systems;
• Proficient in excel, data analysis and reporting;
• Great communicator who can forge relationships with a variety of stakeholders;
• Collaborative team player who enjoys working across departments and team
• Analytical nature and a problem solve
