GYG are looking for a Graduate or Junior Commercial Finance Analyst to join the team at Hola Central, based in Surry Hills. This role would be perfect for someone who has just graduated or is in their last year of university. We are open to part time if you are completing your last year at university.

The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for assisting and learning the commercial insights that drive business growth and sustainability across the GYG network. They will play a key role in providing strong commercial and financial analysis to the business, partnering with the operations and finance team to drive behavioural change and optimal business outcomes. To be successful in the role you will be naturally curious, analytical, and continually challenge the norm.

The role:

• Preparation of AU and International restaurant P&Ls and ROI report pack, including distribution to the senior leadership team and board
• Liaise with franchisees and franchisee bookkeepers ensuring consistent, timely and accurate information
• P&L platform administration
• Assist the commercial finance analyst with the restaurant weekly P&L preparation and analysis
• Weekly corporate KPI insights highlighted and distributed ahead of weekly P&L review
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as per the requirements of the leadership team and board
• Assist franchisees with commercial queries where necessary
• Support with adhoc projects

To be successful, you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in one or more of the following: Business, Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar
• Ambition to study towards CA, CPA, CIMA or preferred
• P&L understanding, ability to identify anomalies and highlight opportunities as required
• Commercial acumen
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Advanced Microsoft excel skills
• Power BI and Excel OLAP experience would be advantageous
