We are looking for entry-level software developers.

‘Software Developer’ is a deliberately broad term. We hire people rather than fill jobs. By this, we mean that we are interested in anyone with valuable skills that we believe has the attitude and outlook to be successful in our organisation. Rather than have a rigid job spec and try and find the perfect candidate for that, we’ll hire useful people and design the nitty gritty of the job around the skills they bring. These skills may include one, some or all of the following:

Key skills we’re seeking:

• Backend development: PHP; C#; Linux; Windows
• Frontend development: HTMP; CSS; Java Script
• Offline Development: Visual Basic; Node JS
• Additional skills: HTTP; ability to understand API documentation; good understanding of auth; SQL; FTP/SFTP; Migration: ETL
• Technical knowledge about SCORM, xAPI or integrating LMS to other systems via APIs

Regardless of how you fit with the above, you MUST have:

• Excellent analytical skills, good attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Great communication skills.
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn every day
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
• A University Degree in Computer Sciences or Software Engineering discipline

The team build bespoke software solutions both to improve or enhance learners’ interaction with the LMS or with eLearning content. This team typically create solutions that plug gaps in the functionality of commercial eLearning/LMS software.
