Applications Systems Analyst/Programmer, Principal

Performs professional duties involving the selection or development, implementation, testing, documentation, maintenance, and efficient utilization of applications software to meet clients’ clinical and business Information Services (I.S.) needs.

Responsibilities & Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

· Prepares detailed specifications for programs. Assists in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications.

· Works with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements.

· Formulates/defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer

· Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs. Provides overall operating system, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages.

· Must have an active TS/SCI.

·· Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope and complexity.

· Demonstrated experience in analyzing and developing Information Technology (IT) testing solutions using Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial standards.

· At least one of the following certifications are required: Oracle Certified Master, Oracle Certified Expert, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, WebLogic, or Sun Solaris

Highly Preferred:

· Masters Degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $160,000.00 per year
