About the Opportunity
The Gunnedah Shire Council now has an exciting full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their team in their offices in Gunnedah, NSW.
Reporting to the General Manager, the role will primarily be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Financial Services Department, and to plan and manage allocated resources effectively and efficiently in the delivery of high quality services in line with the Council’s and the Department’s strategies, objectives and plans.

About You
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in accounting, financial management or a related field in addition to experience working in a management role in control of staff and budgets. Please note that qualifications are not essential provided you have relevant experience.
