REPORTS TO: NATIONAL EDUCATION MANAGER

SCOPE & PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To strengthen our sellout performance, market share and brand awareness.

To further raise our 3 axes expertise profile and elevate the Brand Image.

To provide proactive support to the National Education Manager in developing and delivering the company’s education objectives elevating all 3 axes in the field.

To help execute education programs, coaching, and elevating cross-axis expertise for Guerlain Consultants.

To make recommendations for education strategy with knowledge of competitor training and retail /consumer trends.

To demonstrate expertise in make-up, with in-depth knowledge of skincare, and a broad understanding of the inseparable link with fragrance.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

• Conduct in store visits and one-on-one BC development coaching with Guerlain BC’S in the top 10 accounts (London x5, North x5) to upgrade all the skincare, make-up, fragrance expertise (service and consultation skills).
• Analyse the needs for trainings to be adapted. Ability to champion simplicity through way of working with field teams.
• Work in conjunction with Area Manager’s to develop the business in key doors as directed by Head of Retail and National Education Manager.
• Focus on product and quarterly priorities to develop service and consultation skills of the Beauty Consultants and demonstrate the ability to follow up at all levels
• Submit any practical ideas that will boost final transactions to Counter/Retail Manager and Education Manager
• Support in education to drive understanding and the collection of CRM and VIP data
• Support in retailer’s activation projects and show tangible results by driving systematic and ongoing activity on top doors
• Work with Stakeholders to provide ongoing feedback for sales tools adaptation and creation in-store in line with trends, competitor best practice and client expectations

Education Programmes

• Execute and assist with the development of Education Programmes (Guerlain Academy) as required:
• Induction Training and Regional Training Nationally
• Undertake project work as required
• Develop and coach specialist roles
• Assume training responsibility for Guerlain promotional sites
• Assist and train at retailer conferences and training roadshows, as required

Ability to direct coach and lead constructive feedback
Highly skilled in makeup application with a strong skincare & fragrance background
Strong analytical skills and capability on Microsoft Office (power point and Excel)
