Guardian Industries is looking to hire an HR Advisor to support our manufacturing plant in Goole. Reporting into the HR Business Partner, this position will be key in moving us along in our HR transformation journey. In this role your contributions will help our employees and supervisors create value in our MBM® culture through transformation and self-actualization. This role is ideally placed to help you develop your professional HR career to the next level with plenty of development opportunities with the role and the ability to grow your responsibilities.
What You Will Do In Your Role
Drive innovation in HR functions and processes while supporting transformation efforts
Work with leaders and supervisors to help identify, develop and grow the talent within their teams
Assist in investigations and employee relation matters with support from legal, compliance and HRBP
Work with supervisors and our occupational health partner to manage sickness absence cases and workplace rehabilitation
Collaborate with supervisors around performance management, such as assisting with annual employee performance reviews
Partner with the HR Solutions team to continue to transform and grow the services being delivered to our employees by this team
Own the recruitment process for the production workforce in the site and work wit the Talent Solutions team to ensure they are being leveraged effectively for all other recruitment activity.
Identify HR compliance risks, develop gap closure plan and implement a systematic approach to maintaining compliance.

Requirements:
Previous working experience in the HR role
Experience of coaching supervisors around employee issues
Good UK employment law knowledge
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience of running a recruitment process
Experience working in an HR Management system
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
