Roles & Responsibilities:

We are currently hiring a Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our team. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the day-to-day functions of our accounting department. This position works on-site and will primarily be responsible for completing daily invoicing

• Acknowledging orders in ERP system (AS400)
• Invoicing; including printing, mailing, filing and EDI (electronic data interchange)
• Entering, printing, and invoicing customer orders
• Collating invoices for internal reports
• Providing back-up and support to accounting department
• Mailing invoices and credit memos
• Assisting with billing as needed
• Data entry
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 or more years of practical accounting or bookkeeping experience (coop, internship, prior work experience, etc.)
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
• Proficient in data entry
• Strong attention to detail
• Team player and quick learner

Schedule:

Part-time: 20-25 hours/week

(Business office hours are Monday-Friday; 8AM – 5PM)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting hourly rate is $21 – $23 per hour, depending on skills and experience level
