As Talent Programme Lead, you will be responsible for setting the Consumer Healthcare’s approach, strategy and plans to build future talent pipelines to accelerate building a strong and diverse pipeline of talent into the business. The role focuses on building future strategic capabilities not limited to early careers, from hire to retain and development of future talent within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage CH’s future talent pipeline programmes (interns, graduate, apprentices, other future talent programmes) and planning approach, considering mix of programmes to support future workforce plan, ensuring strong and diverse pipelines to feed succession of key roles and areas of future strategic capabilities. Consider numbers, location based on budget, availability of talent, and workforce planning.
• Partner with HRBL’s to support assessing future talent needs, supporting HR/business approach to identify target off boarding role types, and identifying critical/desirable development experiences.
• Ensure future talent pipeline programmes integrate access to relevant development experiences aligned to programme commitments, along with availability of career coaching when needed.
• Work in partnership with Senior stakeholders, HR, and all business units to implement and sustain CH future talent pipeline standards, deliver positive employee experience and embed CH’s talent strategy
• Partner with business sponsors/ leaders/ HR to ensure their integrated ownership, execution, and delivery of future talent pipeline programmes
• Set annual calendars and cycles and reporting for future talent pipeline programmes and enable HR/business to meet timelines to bring in entry-point talent and develop through the programme
• Partner with the Talent Programme Resourcing Lead to fill future talent pipeline programmes with high quality, diverse candidates
• Set CH-wide approach for offboarding those from talent programmes: ensure HR and business leaders have appropriately planned talent land into stretching roles and succession pipelines and continue to have access to a broad range of development experiences and a great employee experience
• Identify other opportunities to expand future talent pipeline programmes, experimenting with new external partners to ensure we build diverse pipelines for our key capabilities, and deliver modern, high quality, cost effective solutions
• Stay current scanning external trends and sharing relevant external practices and insights with HR community and business stakeholders ensuring our programmes are relevant and result in strong talent attraction and retention.

We’ve already confirmed that our new Consumer Healthcare company will be headquartered in the UK and the first step we’re taking is to announce proposals to move our CH business from our current location in GSK House in Brentford when we separate, into a new, CH headquarters in Weybridge. This will be a temporary, but important move in the short term, whilst we take this opportunity to design for the future and create an inspiring, flexible, collaborative workspace that meets the changing needs of our people and our business needs.

Inspired by our new culture and purpose, and with a commitment to our sustainability goals, we plan to build a new campus close by which would be home to our headquarters teams, our UK business, our global Oral Health category, R&D and innovation teams, as well as a state-of-the-art Shopper Science lab.
