Job Description

• Lead the engineering teams that are responsible for the delivery of solutions
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing and practising good engineering practises and habits
• Build and maintain multiple high performance software engineering teams
• Work with engineering teams to develop roadmaps, to define delivery goals and to achieve them within agreed timelines
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders business-wide
• Facilitates the continuous improvement of engineering and analytics practices
• Collaborates with the data, product and design teams to ensure that we can deliver solutions to our customers to support them building on top of the GROW platform
• Collaborates with DevOps to ensure the engineers have the right infrastructure & tools required for them to the end to end delivery of their services
• Provide and demonstrate strong leadership to direct s and across the engineering team to drive delivery excellence and alignment to Grow’s culture and behaviours.
• Champion provision on ongoing support and development to the engineering team and Team Leads to ensure skills gaps and continuous development is provided
• Manage team recruitment needs with the Team Leads to ensure adequate staffing levels and knowledge to meet our commitments
• Prepare and pro-actively participate in regular 1:1s for direct s and ensure all team members are aligned to team leaders and are consistently participating in 1:1s
• Lead the team with authenticity, role modelling our values to inspire with passion
• Proactively own development as a leader and specialist including the development of future leaders within the function
• Role model a commitment to continually evolving our risk culture as a differentiator for our people and clients
