For its Montreal-based recycling plant in the Anjou sector, TCT Recycling Group is currently looking for Sorting Labourers, to join a brand new team within one of the TC Transcontinental’s divisions. JOB SUMMARY:
Under the responsibility of the production supervisor, the Sorting Labourer’s main responsibility is to sort the paper, cardboard and flexible plastic films that arrive at the factory.

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Separate the plastics by colour and sort the cardboard paper and place them on the supply conveyor;

Clean your workspace;

Support and contribute to a healthy and safe workplace by complying with workplace regulations, policies and initiatives, including reporting all injuries requiring first aid, accidents and workplace hazards;

Any other related task.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:
Ability to perform repetitive work;

Ability to work while standing;

Ability to stay focused;

Have experience in a manufacturing environment (asset);

Ability to work in a noisy, dusty and odorous environment;

Work in a methodical and orderly manner;

Ability to work alone and in a team.
