Job Summary:

The Procurement team is looking for an intern to join them at our Head Office for a paid, full-time, 12-week internship.

As a GDI intern, you will be a contributing member of our team and will have the opportunity to fully participate in our business. Join us for an immersive summer of hands-on experience at a leading fashion retailer.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Procurement team

• Analyze and compare proposals

• Negotiate the best value for product/services;

• Follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery deadlines are respected, specifications are met and the agreed-upon price is applied;

• Establish performance indicators and control and verify that they are respected;

• Prepare documentation relevant to RFQ in accordance with the nature of the products and services required.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a university or college program;
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 OR 3.3/4.3.
• Be eager to learn and grow;
• Be proactive and exceed expected results;
• Challenge the status quo by contributing impactful ideas and solutions.
