About the opportunity
As part of our global HR team, the focus of the Junior Talent Acquisition and Crew Training Specialist will be to manage the entire talent acquisition process for all Australian positions. This person will also focus on the training and development of our crew while providing HR support to the Senior HR Business Partner and wider HR team. This is a permanent full-time opportunity will be ideal for a junior HR professional looking to gain a mix of corporate and industrial HR experience. Other responsibilities will include;

• Ownership of the CSL Australia talent acquisition strategy for all crew and corporate roles including;
• Collaboration on CSL’s employer branding
• Developing strategies to attract young talent through partnerships with schools and universities
• Partnering with hiring mangers to attract top talent

• Supporting the implementation and becoming the super user of CSL’s new LMS and identifying the L&D needs and opportunities for crew
• Coordination and administration of all people related tasks including employee movements, on-boarding and off-boarding
• First point of contact for all HR enquiries relating to HR systems, company policies and general requests
• Manage the CSL relocation program
• Partner with Payroll Supervisor in relation to the management of workers compensation claims
• Involvement in HR transformation projects

About you

• Ideally 2+ years’ experience in a junior generalist role, talent acquisition or L&D
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• You can work in a reactive environment and think critically about situations
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
• You’re eager to build strong relationships and build on the employee experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related is desirable
