Main duties:
To develops, manage and deliver an effective and efficient annual recruitment plan for their allocated business area working closely with business leaders, hiring managers and applicants.

• Advises on best practice and business area trends and requirements to ensure attraction and retention of high quality talent.
• Tracks delivery against agreed SLAs and time plans, highlighting areas of concern and process inefficiencies and developing cost effective solutions
• Supports senior hiring up to and including Director level appointments
• Manages talent acquisition specialist support as required to meet business needs.
• Coaches and /or mentors other team members.
• Ensures excellent customer service and candidate experience from identification of requirement through the entire recruitment process up to and including effective onboarding.
• Ensures effective use of internal and agency resources, media channels and systems, efficiently utilising the recruitment budget to balance cost and time to hire.
• Consistently demonstrates subject matter excellence in delivering a great talent acquisition service to their customers for both permanent and contingent hires
• Plans and delivers appropriate recruitment events to generate and select the best candidates and provide a standardised approach for global roles
• Plans and delivers all candidate attraction strategies focusing on direct sourcing. This includes management of content for the recruitment landing pages and for online social media etc.
• Builds future talent pipelines through extensive networking and maintains a high profile within their area of expertise community. Ensures Lotus is seen as an attractive place to work and is the employer of choice in the business area.
• Negotiates commercial agreements and works with our 3rd party agency and other providers to ensure best hiring practices and that SLAs are adhered to
• Scoping and delivering specific recruitment related projects. Starting from root cause analysis through the project planning process to timely delivery, supporting continuous improvement of our recruitment service and candidate experience.
  • Able to see blockers in a process and manage resolution of any problems promptly
  • Project Management of improvement initiatives in line with Group Lotus Talent Acquisition Strategy and priorities
• Delivery of target headcount for our internal customers
• End to end recruitment from job posting through to offer management and generating contracts
• Direct sourcing candidates, recruitment advertising and where necessary liaising with agencies and proactively managing candidates.
• Management of the companies ATS (Success Factors) and other recruitment portals
• Determining best contingent resource model and assisting with the contractor extensions in line with IR35
• Preparing meaningful recruitment reports, metrics and dashboards to support the customer.
• Promoting and helping to manage best practice in all recruitment and selection processes

Essential Criteria:

• Experience of in-house full life cycle recruitment, both permanent and contingent.
• Experience of managing and influencing challenging customer groups.
• Recognised as subject matter expert for the identified area
• Experience of ATS systems, and proactive sourcing via LinkedIn and other direct sources and running recruitment events
• Proactively manages their social network to attract and support talent
• Knowledge of all appropriate employment law including IR35, protected characteristics and UK GDPR
• Good level of IT literacy including Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Attention to detail
• Good written/verbal communication skills to all business levels
• Experience working in a fast paced environment
• Excellent customer service focus

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience using SuccessFactors
• Project management experience / qualification
• Significant experience in commercial / retail recruitment or operations recruitment
• Supplier management and processing invoices
• HR analytics, data and reporting skills using Power BI or other dashboards
