About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity here at Lotus for an experienced HR professional to join us as a HR Business Partner. This position will the responsible for providing an efficient and effective HR service to the Engineering, PMO, Design and LAP departments.

Experienced in devising, agreeing, and implementing HR Strategy which enables the delivery of the business plan. Working with the Executive Directors/Senior Management Team as required on all aspects of Human Resources and Human Resources best practice.

Key responsibilities include:
Have business / divisional awareness to allow for the effective support of the divisions allocated.

Work with Directors to ensure that each division is correctly manned for its current and future needs

Work with Directors to ensure that manpower budgets are met for the fiscal year.

Lead with manpower budgeting requirement in line with Finance timetable.

Consult with people managemers, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.

Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to people management and ensure compliance with the annual performance management cycle.

Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, ensure engagement, and increase productivity and retention.

Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

Ensure personal and HR Departmental compliance with Health and Safety Policy

Ensure HR compliance within the Quality Procedure/Policy

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or holds CIPD qualification

Previous experience within an HR Manager or HR Business Partner position

Ability to adjust to change and be confident operating in a highly diverse environment

Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate confidently

Previous experience in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:
Post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline

Experience within manufacturing, automotive or engineering industry
