Group Financial Reporting Manager Full Time

• Lead the preparation of consolidated Group management reporting, including the collation and reporting of monthly cashflow forecasts for review by the Investment Committee and inclusion within the Finance section of the quarterly Supervisory Board Report.
• Prepare the audited Group consolidated financial statements under FRS 102, including the review, challenge, and validation of underlying divisional submissions.
• Produce the annual Group consolidation under IFRS for tax purposes (unaudited).
• Own the financial reporting for the Group Management division, including delivery of regular cashflow forecasts, monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts, and the annual budget.
• Oversee and review the monthly management accounts and annual budget for a small operational entity, presenting financial performance at monthly business update meetings and quarterly Board meetings, and managing the annual audit and finalisation of statutory financial statements.
• Review the maintenance of books and records across a portfolio of UK and Isle of Man entities, ensuring the timely production of statutory accounts and compliance with relevant reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit the annual PSA return.
• Partner with the Group Financial Controller to enhance reporting processes, including the introduction of automation through the effective use of existing and new technologies.
• Support the wider finance function in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of investment valuation models.
• Assist the Group Financial Controller in the delivery of ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required.
• Manage, coach, and develop three direct reports through regular one-to-one meetings, supporting their professional development and ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of outputs.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• ACA qualified, with a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience (or equivalent where relevant experience can be clearly demonstrated).
• Strong technical accounting expertise, with demonstrable experience in Group consolidations and complex financial reporting.
• Experience in the preparation and/or review of financial statements for banking, statutory, and tax purposes.
• Experience of reviewing VAT returns.
• Experience of monitoring financial performance and providing detailed analytical commentary and insight.
• Proven ability to prepare high-quality ad hoc financial analysis and reports for senior management.
• Experience of people management, with the capability to support, develop, and motivate team members.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel capability essential.
• Experience of MRI systems is advantageous but not essential.
• Transaction services and investment analysis experience, including strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
