Job Description
We’re looking for an HR Officer to join our largest Casino in London!
You’ll support the casino to meet their business objectives by providing a high-quality HR service to internal and external customers. In particular, to support the management team with the management of employee relations issues, recruitment, retention, and training, to achieve an engaged team with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the needs of the business.
Duties will include:
Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements in line with GDPR.
Working collaboratively with the on-site management team to enhance recruitment activity which includes posting ads managing the hiring process, screening CV’s and supporting with interviews where necessary.
Work in collaboration with the club HR Assistant and support their development where appropriate.
Supporting with the induction process to ensure all new recruits have a meaningful induction and assisting where required.
Promoting the training and development programmes offered by The Rank Group and identify further training needs and solutions.
Working collaboratively with Croner Professional and on-site management teams to ensure the effective management and prompt resolution of any day-to-day employee Relations cases.
Pro-actively promoting employee recognition and reward initiatives which will include the Company’s Star’ initiative.
Assisting and supporting the on-site management team with the implementation of a high-performance employee culture, implementing performance improvement plans (PIP’s) where needed.
Assisting the HRBP with the talent management process to ensure effective development plans are in place where necessary.
Maintain the club people plan to feed into the regional succession plan.
Supporting with the communication and implementation of any HR initiatives as required.
To assist in the reviewing of team member attendance using existing methods and apply appropriate absence management and supporting attendance processes where required
To attend formal meetings as required and take full and accurate notes, type up minutes and notes of meetings in an appropriate manner within defined timescales.
Attendance at a weekly update meeting with on-site management to provide any updates as necessary.
Proactively supporting HR processes to ensure the highest compliance in all people areas.
Actively support and participate in the election and training of new and existing Team Forum representatives.
Involvement with ad-hoc projects and any other HR activity as required.
Provide support and advice within the London region where necessary.
Qualifications
Working Hours:
10 – 6 pm working hours (3 days out of 5)
12 – 8 pm (2 days per week)
Opportunity for hybrid working, upon completion of probationary period.
